What followed was eleven of the hardest, most beautiful days of my life. The Annapurna Base Camp trek isn't about Instagram — it's about how you handle yourself when your knees give out at 3,500 metres. It's about the strangers who carry your backpack when you can't.
The envelopes? On the summit, I opened mine. Inside was a single line in Nepali: 'You came here to find something. You leave with people.'
